Chefs- A key ingredient to success

Nothing makes a community come together more than food.  Chefs have an important role in bringing people together with their delicious and creative dishes. They are vital ambassadors of food trends with innovative culinary expertise that keeps their customers coming back for more. For this reason, Taylor Farms partners closely with chefs to create new and unique products.

Team Taylor is always looking for opportunities to collaborate with chefs through creative ideation sessions, educational summits and food shows. When working with chefs, we provide a variety of our Taylor Farms products to inspire culinary creativity to make innovative trendy dishes. These meetings foster discussions that help foodservice operators understand the benefits of buying value added produce and provide a time for our team to receive feedback on trends and products that shorten kitchen preparation time.

By working with chefs in the kitchen, we have an opportunity to create customizable blends or cuts of veggies. New products have derived from these sessions like our latest and greatest Veggie Noodles. Our VP of Marketing, Tanya Mason, talked about how collaborating with chefs has helped us create new innovative products that are trendy on the podcast, Colorful Plates (check it out). During her interview, she noted that all three of our new blends include healthy and colorful veggies, such as kale and radicchio , since it is currently trending in restaurants. She also mentions providing products that help foodservice operators with food safety and efficiency in the kitchen. Chef’s voices are an essential key to the creation of new products at Taylor Farms.
